I AM LIVING IN 9 FLOOR RESIDRNTIAL APARTMENT .MY FIAT IS ON 6TH FLOOR .MY KITCHEN HAS DRY BALCONY WHICH OPENS IN CENTRAL DUCT OF SIZE 10*10.LAST WEEK OUR BUILDER COVER THE DUCT FORM TOP BY FABRICATED STRUCTURE AND TRANSPARANT FIBERE SHEETS THE COVER IS FLAT IN SHAPE(NOT CONVERGENT)AND HAVE OPENING FORM THE SIDES TO REMOVE HOT GASES . SINCE DUCT IS COVERED I AM FACING THE VENTILATION PROBLEMS AND FOUL ODUR IN MY FLAT  . I WANT TO KNOW WHETHER IT IS LIGAL TO GOVER THE DUCT (PARTIALLILY OR COMPLETELY )WHETHER IT IS UNDER THE NORMS ?
